Remembering

Last week we had to opportunity to see the traveling version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. Tony has an uncle that died  in the Vietnam war so we thought this would be a great opportunity for us.  It was amazing.  All a bit overwhelming actually.

They had a place there you could give them the name of the person you were looking for and they typed it into a data base and printed off the location of the name on the wall and a bunch of additional information about the person.  It took her under a minute to find Tony's uncle.

They also had a display of all the names of the soldiers that have died in the war since 9/11.  I hope I never see my boys name on this wall.

What an awesome experience. I wish I would've known about it. I'm glad you got to go.
